What a real gem of a sub! It is quite large so make sure you have room for it ( much larger than my other one 10'' JAMO. Rocking 600W is no joke! Hook it up to a good amp and you are golden! Pairs well with my Klipsch RP 600s!

Haven't had time to play with the settings too much or to run Dirac on my receiver with it and my final 2 tower speakers that I ordered along with this ? but got this on a deal for $350, also it's huge!!! For the smallest size in the series lol so far it has really punchy bass which I like but it needs more time to break in?. I kinda wish I had just ordered two cause that deal disappeared quick!! I would hate to try to fit the RP- 1600SW in my living room this is bad enough

I don't normally write reviews, but the Klipsch RP-1200SW absolutely deserves the praise. This subwoofer far exceeded my expectations right out of the box. From the build quality to the performance, it's clear that Klipsch put serious thought into every detail. The low-end response is nothing short of phenomenal. It not only hits its rated frequency response, but it also reaches below it with authority. The bass is tight, deep, and incredibly clean-no muddiness, just pure power and precision. Whether I'm watching movies or listening to music, the RP-1200SW delivers room-shaking lows that are still nuanced and controlled. I am running this subwoofer alongside an RSL Speedwoofer 12S and have found the Klipsch to keep up with it beautifully, and in my particular room the Klipsch digs about 3hz lower (-3db at 12hz vs the RSL -3db at 15hz). Would absolutely recommend this, looks like Klipsch has stepped up their subwoofer game to a competitive level with this new RP series.

Suffice it to say , I didn't know that I had so many loose objects in and outside my house. This thing will give you chest compressions if you need it to. It is great

Really out performs my SVS PB-1000 Pro. Louder, deeper, smoother without struggle. And having got it for $529 is an unbelievable deal. I'm amazed people get more than one of these for a setup. Can't imagine what the 14" and 16" models can do. I'd be shocked to get better bass at the sale prices for these Klipsch subs. Don't pay more than $529 for this sub.

Great sub, I didnt think I'd be able to tell the difference sonically between this and the 12inch klipsch I already had beyond more raw power from the bigger driver. But it's so much more than that. Huge difference. Cant wait to get another one to compete the set. Definitely worth it.

I bought two of these to run with The Nines. They are still breaking in,, and they are sounding better and more responsive every day. The will literally move things if you want them to, but they are also very musical. Yes and Rush come to life. Dream Theater's new album sounds and feels concert level immersive. I won't deduct a star for this, but shopping via UPS was a mess. I took two days off work to sign for them, only to have them show up with no "out for delivery" notification on Saturday. The boxes were shredded. There was a half inch deep dent on one of the plate amps, but it does not affect performance. All in all, I'm extremely happy with my purchase, and I would definitely recommend these subwooferd to anyone looking for solid performance at and outstanding price.

We upgraded from a quality 10 inch sub. What we gained was a flatter and more even response that reaches deeper, well into the subsonic. Knowing that there aren't certain frequencies that the sub projects louder than others, means that we have the confidence to turn things up. The base is clean and smooth and now when watching a movie where a large heavy door is closed, we don't just hear it, we feel how heavy the door is. At full price it hangs with other ~1k subs. On sale it's a no brainer.

Like everyone else said, this thing is big. I thought I was going to send it back, until I hooked it up. I'm just getting started dialing it in but it stays. Think I'll get a 1200 to go with it !!!

I purchased this sub during the May sale since I wanted to upgrade my system with an additional sub with better performance. After reading Audioholics review and looking at the CEA 2010 performance results, and reviewing all the work and testing Klipsch did to address amplifier reliability, this became a no brainer buy. If you have limited room, take measurements of where you plan on putting this because it is a big heavy sub, much larger than the 12" SVS that it is sharing the room with. ( see pic) Sound quality is outstanding with it delivering clean tight deep bass that helped put my system at a different level performance wise. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone. Adorama's service was excellent. I ordered on a weekend and my order had an estimated delivery 6 days out; the sub was delivered in 3 days.

When my trusty R-112SW died (garbage built in amp finally gave up the ghost after a trite 6 years) I decided I didn't want to downgrade. Read a bunch of things in the normal places like AVS and Reddit plus independent reviews and narrowed down my search to a few contenders. Apparently Klipsch has fixed their amp quality issues with this sub and I liked the idea of sticking with a single brand to match the rest of my RP Klipsch speakers in my home theater. The 5 year warranty was also a big selling point. First thing you have to know is that this thing is freaking enormous. You can look at the measurements on the website but until you're hauling a 135# box down stairs you don't really understand the enormity of what you've got. I've owned small beer fridges that weren't this big. DEFINITELY look at the dimensions to make sure you have the room for this. Setup was super easy as there are basically 2 knobs and plenty out there for optimum usage so I won't go into it. I didn't think the R-112SW was small or underpowered until I fired up this behemoth of low frequency emission glory. HO-LY-CRAP Scoob, this thing is the TRUTH. It isn't punchy at all and it is basically shaking my house apart on big scenes like in Maverick or the JJ-A Star Trek. You feel it in your soul on a spiritual level and really let this room live up to its full potential. I'm supposed to be doing a dozen other things today but I can't seem to leave the room because I just want to bask in the experiential splendor that this sub has brought to my life. 10/10 even without rice, would definitely recommend this to others without a moments hesitation.
