This is the best addition to my 75" Samsung tv. The speaker is loud, clean and crisp sound. Clear dialogue. Sound feels like is in all directions. The Q-symphony real immerses you in the sound. Sync perfectly with sub woofer.

This soundbar gives a drastic improvement over the in monitor speakers of a flat panel monitor. Sound and vocal clarity improved incredibly. There is a true and clear separation of sound effects and overall theater improvement.

Sound is great. Works awesome with samsung TV. Wish it explained the modes better. Bluetooth to phone to use as a speaker for music is annoying. Have to forget and resync every time I want to use it. Which makes me not use it as much as I would like.

I purchased the S-Series All-in-One 3.0ch Soundbar (HW-S50B) and overall, it's a decent product with a clean design and easy setup. The build quality feels solid, and features like DTS Virtual:X and Q-Symphony are a nice addition, especially if you're using it with a compatible Samsung TV. However, the main issue I've noticed is the sound output level. Even at higher volume settings, the sound doesn't get as loud or as powerful as expected. But if volume and strong audio performance are important to you, you may want to consider a more powerful model or one with a dedicated subwoofer. I purchased this Soundbar to enhance the quality of sound when watching movies. The sound was so good on the older LG TV I was using that I went out and bought a brand new Samsung UHD U8000F TV to enhance the quality of sound with my Soundbar. The Q-Symphony gives the room a rich, sound sound that plays right to the center of the room allowing you to feel every aspect of the movie. Not to mention the available option to use the bluetooth with any of my portable devices like phone, tablet or laptop. I couldn't be more satisfied then I am when it comes time to relax either with music or an exciting action movie. I highly recommend this sound system.

The sound bar is nice looking and was easy to mount to the wall. However, the HDMI ARC functionality does not get along with the Poly conference hardware as the soundbar will stop being detected by the TV when the Poly conference unit is plugged in to any HDMI port. I have not had this issue with the previous soundbar we use from Panasonic. We were looking for something with higher volume output and while the Samsung HW-S50B fits that bill, the fact it won't work with the conferencing hardware at same time makes it useless to me. I had sent it to Samsung Service for repair as we thought it wasn't working after spending over an hour on the phone with Samsung Support, but they showed that it was working fine for them, but when I got it back it wouldn't work again. Only after unplugging the conferencing hardware from the HDMI on the TV did it start working. Samsung Support said there was nothing they could do about the incompatibility between the devices. So we put the Panasonic soundbar back in place and that one works fine. I ended up moving it to a secondary room on a TV that gets almost no usage.

I purchase this for my brother and law. He is a minimalist and like everything tucked away and hidden. He was very pleased to have this all in one speaker that gave him good sound and clarity. This was a good choice.

so far i'm loving my new toy. it was abit complicated to connect initially. but once i used an hdmi cord to connect to my tv it was easier to connect my tablet via wifi. the sounds amazing and you can litererally hear every word and detail of a whispered conversation! def planon getting an upgrade with my new tv.

I've been very impressed with the acoustics of this soundbar. The clarity of dialogue is sharp, even when there is background noise outside. It provides a great sense of immersion for an outdoor setup, and the resonance is deep enough that you don't feel like you're losing bass in an open space. The durability also seems top-notch, as it handles the outdoor elements without any issues. Overall, it's a solid 4-star addition to my terrace.

I am VERY impressed with myTerrace Outdoor Soundbar!!! I didn't think it would sound as loud or as clear being outdoors, but i was pleasantly surprised!! It added to our home theater experience by bringing out sounds we wouldn't normally hear without it! The acoustics are high quality and I'm giving it a 5 out of 5 review! It's extremely durable and easy to set up! A great piece to add to your collection of stereo equipment!

Update Jan 26, 2026: The response from Samsung does not actually address my issue. The TV and Soundbar are configured just as they suggest. The TV remote works perfectly well controlling the volume from the soundbar. The problem is that when the TV is in External Speaker mode, and it "sees" the signal from the volume control on the remote, it displays a "Function Not Available" error on the TV screen. The response from Samsung in my review makes it seem like this is not a real issue and is user-error. This is incorrect. Sounds great. But I deducted 2 stars for usability / installation issues: 1. The USB jack for updating the firmware is an obsolete USB-micro jack. You are *required* to buy an adapted to connect a USB Flash drive for this one purpose. They should include the cable since there is literally no other way to update the firmware. It's impossible to plug in the jack after installing the soundbar, so you have to install the cable before mounting. And then, no matter how hard I tried or how many internet searches, I could not get the soundbar to recognize the file. Maybe if you have a very old PC and a very old flashdrive, both will have compatible file systems? I could not get it to work. Very niche cable adapter now in my box of extra cables in my closet. 2. The installation brackets are 17-3/4" apart. If they were 16", you'd have a chance of getting it on two studs. Nope. No matter how you install it, you need to use at least one drywall anchor. Measure the bracket width yourself before drilling. I used the included paper template, and unless I pulled it super-duper taut, it was a 1/4" short. 3. No digital optical audio cable included. It does include an HDMI cable. So, now I have one more HDMI cable (up to 15 at last count) in my box of cables in my closet. 4. This might just be an issue with my Samsung TV model, and using digital audio out, but it's my review, and this affects me. When my TV is set to "external speaker" so I can use the Digital Audio out, and the Soundbar is configured for use by Samsung TV IR-Remote, every time I adjust the volume with the TV remote, my TV displays an error across the screen: "Not Available." It works fine with the included Soundbar remote, but I'd like to use one remote.

It's not as wow as I expected. It's better than the Samsung tv but not overwhelming. For example the audio voice assistant while adjusting it with its remote sounds great compared to the actual audio coming thru from the show you are watching. Need more richer sound. Still too mumbled without turning up the treble too far and getting tin sound after each word spoken. But the tv recognized it immediately when I hooked it up making very easy to control volume and some setting on tv. It is close to the entry level but for $200 on sale I was expecting more.

I initially purchased a HE-400/ZA 2 Chanel bar for my 55"U7900 UHD 4K TV, which through troubleshooting with Samsung help desk discovered it wasn't compatible with that TV, I returned it to best buy and got refunded and I turned around and Purchased the HW-S50B BAR and it was a 100% improvement of quality sound.
