This work-holding tool is composed of three main components: a sturdy 10" center shaft integrated into a weighted base, a pair of adaptable circuit holder arms connected by a 14" square crossbar, and a flexible connector that links the crossbar to the center shaft.

The circuit board holder arms are designed to slide along the crossbar, accommodating circuit boards up to 12" in size. For secure placement, each arm requires a minimum of 1" of crossbar length. The arms are easily locked into position with two tightening knobs at their bases, ensuring stability during use.

The inner edge of the arms features V-shaped grooves, providing a secure grip on circuit boards. Additionally, strategically placed notches near the tips of the arms can be utilized to hold small electronic parts. The right circuit board holder arm is equipped with a ratcheting lever, enabling fine adjustments of the opening between the two arms. This feature facilitates quick mounting and removal of circuit boards without the need to loosen the main adjustment knob.
