I am a voice actor. In my booth are the Sennheiser MKH-416 and the Neumann TLM-103. On my desk outside the booth is a Shure SM57 for conference and meetings and an Apollo Twin. The Apollo Twin only has two inputs and I've been plugging and unplugging the two XLR cables I've run into the booth every time I needed to switch between the microphones. PROBLEM SOLVED. I can confirm it passes phantom power to the microphones and there is no audible coloration or noise with this switch in place in either of the microphones. You can bet I did an A/B test *and* ran it by a professional audio engineer. The redesigned box is RECESSED so that it does not damage the A/B switch easily. Photo included. The ONLY thing - is that it makes a LOUD CLICK when switching sources (photo included). Make sure to mute monitors and headphones before switching to the other microphone. I'M A HAPPY CUSTOMER AND WILL BE SHARING THIS WITH EVERYONE I KNOW. I'm so happy. xD
