Not Confident that this is actually better than a regular auxiliary cord

It works, but honestly I was expecting better quality than what I got. As far as I have read, it's supposed to be shielded and meet some special requirements to make sure no noise gets into the signal and makes your recording all noisy, but it just looks like a standard cable to me. To be fair, my recordings do sound good, but I'm not convinced I needed to buy this as opposed to a standard auxiliary cord I could find at best buy. More than anything I guess what I am saying is that this cable doesn't give me buyer's confidence in it's quality
