Took about 3 months to get order delivered. Adapter very difficult to attach to binoculars. Once attached, does not hold binoculars tight to adapter. Overall, a very mediocre product.

Overall this works fine to attach larger binoculars to a tripod. The only issue is the thick metal washer that takes up some of the threads that screw into the binoculars. Removing this lets the adapter more securely attach to the binoculars.

I primarily bought the Celestron binocular tripod adaptor for celestrial observing, however, when I used it for daylight bird watching I found out that it showed me that my diopter adjustment on my binocs were off. The steady hold enabled to see and correct this fine adjustment making everything much sharper. I would recommend this adaptor for everyone using binoculars, day of night, to find them for much better viewing.

I bought this because it fits my two pairs of binoculars, allowing me to use my tripod to eliminate shake. It does the job. I do find that you have to screw it in really tight to keep the binoculars from moving.

Attaches my Celestron binoculars to any of my tripods. A necessity for viewing celestial objects via binoculars, unless you have the steady hands of a surgeon.

As a mount for my 10x50 binos, it sorta works, but the Nikon is much better: Nikon Tripod Adapter for the Action, Action Extreme, Aculon & Marine Series Binoculars. SKU: NKBTAA MFR: 7650 With the Celestron, take pliers to tighten; hand-tighten won't do.

Celestron is a familiar name in telescopes, so I expected this would be a good product. It is. It should fit any binoculars with a standard mounting socket in front, and seems strong enough to hold up any size binoculars. The long stem makes it easy to tighten up and remove. It should fit any tripod, and, unlike my hands, it doesn't shake at all.

Good basic adapter for smaller binoculars. Worked well for a 8X32 but when adapting to a 10X56 I experienced too much movement and could not get a stable fitting with the larger binoculars.
