The baseplate features an ARRI standard dovetail clamp, which when paired with the Left Field ARRI Dovetail Plate, provides a quick release mechanism for your camera. The sliding base offers fine adjustment capabilities, ensuring optimal balance for the camera operator. Equipped with multiple 1/4"-20 & ARRI 3/8" accessory mounts, this baseplate allows for the attachment of additional accessories, transforming it into a comprehensive camera cage solution. The baseplate also accommodates two industry standard 15mm LWS rods, secured with kip levers for added stability. For those who travel frequently, the baseplate offers the flexibility of using two sets of shorter rods to create a longer rod mount, making it easier to pack. If a single set of long rods is preferred, the front and rear kip levers can be used to provide extra rigidity. The Left Field Quick Release Baseplate Kit is not only compatible with the Panasonic EVA-1, VariCam 35/LT, and Sony FS5 I & FS5 II cameras, but can also be used with other camera systems by simply swapping out the riser block. Constructed from a single block of aluminum, this baseplate is designed to withstand the most extreme environments, ensuring durability and longevity. The Left Field 15mm LWS Quick Release Baseplate Core is a universal baseplate adaptable to multiple camera systems, further enhancing its versatility. The Left Field ARRI Dovetail Plate, a quick release cheese plate, is compatible with the Left Field 15mm LWS Baseplate and Sliding Top Plates, offering fine adjustment of counter balance and multiple accessory mounts. Finally, the Sony FS5/Panasonic EVA1/VariCam LT/VariCam 35 Riser ensures your camera is set to the correct height when using the Left Field 15mm LWS Baseplate, making this kit a comprehensive solution for your camera setup needs.
