It is good Grip but that's it. it got very worm when installing batteries or singe one. smell burning plastic. no safe.

Pentax K1 Mark II battery grip

Great addition to the K1 Mark ii. It's lighter than I expected. I like the fact that it can use AA batteries with the additional drawer. It makes vertical shooting comfortable.

Pentax Quality!

This adds a little extra weight, but its a life saver during an event like a wedding. It is comfortable in the hands and gives me peace of mind.

I will know more about this battery grip when I receive the K1 mk2 I ordered. Other than that, the quality and service I received was great. I know this is the answer to a back up accessary which will be used.

Great accessory, fits the camera very well, and make shooting  portrait so much easier (the K1 allows rotation of the main menu content on the LCD screen from landscape to portrait...).  I also like the fact that this grip comes with two different battery bays, one to house the Pentax D-LI90P cell, and the other for AA batteries.
