Redback owner
Produces beautiful soft light, perfect for celebrity interviews or small spaces in NYC. A bit expensive but you get what you pay for: portable, powerful, and soft with modifiers. Downsides are I've noticed flicker 60fps+ frame rates in anything besides full tungsten/full daylight. It comes in many variations, the cabling and baby-pin in the back can be difficult to rig.
Amazing light
I've shot primarily beauty work in the past several years and was always looking for the perfect lighting system. There would always be some sort of compromise - a large setup requiring lots of stands or accessories, not the right shape for the catch light in the eyes, only one color temp, etc. The Hudson Spider Redback checks most of the boxes to these issues, but is also extremely versatile.
