This thing is built like a tank. Its very refreshing to find a piece of equipment where you can tell every aspect has been well thought through, with care and attention to build the best light possible. Like the PSU design which can mount in a variety of different ways depending on the application. The built in filters are fantastic and to have over 1400 filters available is fantastic, the interface is great and being able to save and recall my favourite settings at the touch of the button is a real time saver. I do both video and stills, and the HSS flash feature is great, it has genuinely no recycle time and never skips a beat, and to be able to flash at any colour temperature, but also any RGB colour is great when you want a nice colour back light or fill. I would highly recommend this.

Very well made

In my opinion and having used a bunch of different lights in my time, this is the best 1x1 light I've ever used. The skin tones and colour rendition is perfect, and Its got a ton of features and innovation I've never seen in any other light - period.  Not least of which is that electronic diffusion! WOW! It works and you can see the light wraps more and and has a softer edge to the shadows when fully diffusions, and a harder crisper edge when set to fully clear.  Super helpful when I just want the maximum punch from the light , or if I'm using a bigger modifier on set. The flash feature is also really cool if you also do any stills work. I'm very happy.

Best 1x1 light I've ever used

I own the Titan X2 which is a beast of a light. The X1 is just as good, literally a half sized 1x1 version, but built to exactly the same quality and with all the same great features. The diffusion is the killer one for me, I just love it and I love seeing peoples and clients look of amazement every time I use it! I got the rental kit which includes the case, barn doors and clamp. The case is very heavy, but is has wheels and perfectly protects the light so I'm really pleased I got it. The barn doors are super easy to mount, just using a push/release mechanism instead of having to take 10 minutes to screw/unscrew every time which is much appreciated.
