Shopper : How do these connect to the monolight flash? Any help is appreciated.MIKE K : they fit on the front with a friction fit. in other words they just push on. they hold on quite well and didn't fall off even when i was using it for a hair light.Tony C : It is spring loaded, you can clip it inside the flash reflector.BILL A : THE HONEYCOMB AND FILTERS HAVE CLIPS THAT CLIP OVER THE FRAME OF THE LIGHT TO HOLD THEM IN PLACE. I HAVE NOT USED BUT A COUPLE OF TIMES. THE CLIPS ARE A LITTLE FRAGILE, BUT SO FAR ARE HOLDING. I JUST HOPE AFTER SEVERAL PUT-ONS AND TAKE-OFF THEY DO NOT BREAK OFF.ELENA S : I connect mine using the ring holder of the barn door. For some reason I found that when I need the grid I also need to control directional light fall off, so I'm also using the barn door at the same time. You can find it here on Adorama if you look for the accessories to fit the flashpoint budget 160 or the adorama budget 100. Just do a search for barn door. Hope this helps.

Too Cheap

Ok, it works with the budget light. The honeycomb fell out of it's frame the first time that I used it. The barndoors flop around too much. It is cheap and you can make it work, more or less.

How do these attach to the light? The last set burnt up and completely melted

How do these connect

Can' t figure out how to attach these to the adoroma light they are for. The last set were different and they burned up. Be careful not to burn your studio down.

Almost, sorta does the job

I had some concerns about securing it to the thin housing of the budget light. It sorta does the job. The Honeycomb does not control the light as much as I'd like. Can not use color filter & honeycomb together. The barndoor flaps are too loose. If you're trying to go as cheap as you can, you can get some use out of it.
