So far, this gimble has performed as advertised. I did a lot of research, and bought this gimble to replace a Smove Mobile. I like how it is specifically designed for a Gopro. So far, I’ve experienced none of the problems mentioned in reviews I’ve read. Maybe it’s because I read the instructions first.

The gimbal is perfect for my needs, making videos of my kids and pet, I used it on my bicycle rides and makes good videos, but looks like sometimes it struggles trying to do it's job. I buy it not long ago and I have to use it longer to make a better impression of it, so far I'm happy with the product/price related.

One of the best purchase of the holiday!! I was lucky to get it during holiday time. Used it couple of time and results are awesome. For comparison, I bought (and returned) Zhinyun Evolution. 1) Build quality: Hold the product and you will realize how good the quality and craftsmanship. Removu S1 is way ahead than Zhinyun. look and feel of S1 is really top notch. Zhinyun is aluminium based, A) It make weird sounds while inserting batteries and tightening from bottom. S1 uses Li-polymer battery, easy to insert and remove. B) Battery charger shows red and blue light. Blue means fully charged. Even after charging the battery for full one day, it always shows red. Though no issues during the use. S1, even the charger is of high quality and indicate the charging status properly. 2) Case / Bag: With S1, you will receive a proper bag but nothing with Zhinyun. 3) Calibration issue: I am using S1 now for almost 3 weeks, its working great without any issue. For Zhinyun, When got it out of box working all fine, no calibration, no software update, all good. However, when took it for a day trip , it stopped working. It was fourth day. Searched on internet and figure out issue with calibration and after manual calibration its started working again. Not sure why it happens. 4) Compatibility: For S1, I have to place order for the gopro 5 housing frame as the one came with package only compatible with gopro 4 and below. Also, the frames are not compatible with any other action camera (at least doesnt work for YI camera). Zhiyun is compatible with most of the gorpro 4 and similar version but not with gopro 5. I was using rubber band to hold it. On a lighter note: S1 is a new product and recently launched, as a normal user I was not able to find any issue. I just hope there will not be any major issues like gopro karma :) (like restart on its own). Overall, I like S1 a lot and will definitely recommend to others.
