Purchased this M2 to have 2 good lav mics (and an option for a handheld) for my on-location video production. Noise reduction worked great at a "Happy 50th" B-day Party with very, very loud music a year after I purchased it. It was the last time it worked. Six months later, I tried it again for a production and the Receiver stopped working. It will not turn on. Transmitters are fine. The battery is probably the issue. Makes you wonder why Godox is now selling Transmitter and Receiver parts separately.

I tried a friends DJI mics and loved the quality and ease of use but they were not in my budget. I found the Godox MoveLink M2 and gave them a try. I am very impressed with the ease of use and audio quality. They seem to reduce room noise quite well and you can hear the difference when using headphones. Some background noise is removed before recording. I have used them a few times for testing and have not had any issues so far. If anything changes when using in the field I will come back and adjust the review. Overall I am very happy with the build and audio quality. I made a short video so you can hear the audio I recorded using my Sony A7riii. What could be improved: One negative is the placement of the "hold" button. It is nice to have an option to cut audio to one unit without turning off but it is easy to hit when holding the transmitter or placing on the person. Just make sure you have a signal being received after adjusting the placement of the unit. Also, I find the way the receiver fits the camera hot shoe a little odd. It faces backwards so you view it upside down when recording. I don't see a way to modify the mount to reverse it.

The sound quality is really impressive for the price point. Works great overall, just wish that the transmitters could record directly instead of only through the receiver. Other than that, it can't be beat for the price.

Very nice set-up. Small and light weight. Crystal clear sound with no noise I can detect. Super easy to use - works instantly out of the box. I'm using with my Tascam DR701D which feeds my Canon R6 camera. The receiver fits into a hot/cold shoe mount!

I have only used these a few times, but the audio quality is great and the setup is easy to use. I do a lot of video interviews on location and the kit is small without sacrificing sound quality. Recently used them on a project for a documentary film and the producer was pleased with the results.

Hey it's no bigger than a book of matches, and you will NOT get cinema quality sound, but you should know it is infinitely better than gaining up your camera mic and getting tons of room noise. In a situation where the audio is not cinema critical and you need to record two voices in an untreated environment, this will work. I would not drop it, or get it wet, or drain the battery out, or stress this thing out in any way. But in a pinch for that cool heads up interview or some talking head shots this mic set is the bomb.

After trying these out, I realized my favorite flash company, just became my favorite audio company too. I have tried the rode wireless go system and though they are nice, they are not the only quality product on the market. I use to think that Rode was the only way to go for audio but after trying a few other better priced products, I learned that I have been overpaying for audio quality. I send all my audio into a Zoom H8 recorder so I get optimum quality regardless the brand I use. I?m sure you will be pleasantly surprised by the quality of the audio, the convenience of the charging case, and the overall size and aesthetics of this system.

I really love how lightweight and simple these wireless lav mics are. I am hearing a light hum when the subject is not speaking, however. I?ve tried to reach Godox for support and it?s been difficult. I may end up returning them.

The lavalier system that godox has made is pretty amazing! Sound is crisp and the quality is rich. I use it for doing tutorials and recording audiobooks and I couldnt be happier with the system.

Very impressed with this system overall. Comparable systems cost 2-3x more. There are some features that are lacking such as internal recording to the transmitters, and the audio meter on the receiver isn?t great for monitoring levels (latency is not great, so I just monitor levels on my camera). Given these few drawbacks, these units work very well if you?re looking for a more budget friendly option for wireless mics. The charging case is a great feature, and the range of the units doesn?t disappoint for my uses. I primarily do outdoor hiking/backpacking videos, and found the transmission range of these units to be well more than my needs. I can be standing 100+ feet away with several trees between me and the receiver and get perfect signal. The fact that this system comes with wind muffs, lapels, charging case, and cables for charging make it an incredible value. Bottom line, I?d certainly recommend this as a great budget wireless mic set!

I am rating the product (not the vendor). Nice set of mics for the price. PROS: lightweight, east to set up and store. no real learning curve, priced nicely for what you receive. CONS: They seem a little flimsy, sound is a little "tinny", would prefer a more cardiod pattern I like that they are small and easy to use. I find the sound to be substandard for anything but dialog, but I have more expensive mics for that. I like that they don't take up a ton of space in my camera bag and that you can conveniently charge all the devices at once with the charging case. However, you cannot really get anything similar for this price point. I would recommend for any hobbyist/vlogger. If you are doing any kind of serious video where sound is imperative, you may want to spend a little bit more money.

This has worked great for my uses. I am part of a magic club that meets in person monthly but also puts the meeting on Zoom for those that can?t attend. My primary objective was to get an inexpensive wireless microphone that could be easily transferred between the members that are performing at the meeting so those on Zoom could hear them clearly. This has worked very well. I?ll be using it for simple videos, as well. I have Sennheiser wireless mics for my stage work and, of course, they sound better and have greater range but the convenience of the Godox wireless system is perfect when I need a quick way to mic people. I haven?t had any issues with sound dropping but I?m within 10? or 15? at most times and wouldn?t expect much interference at that distance. For the low price, they have exceeded my expectations.

Been in the market for a wireless lav type mic setup so had been shopping around. The new system from DJI seems to have a lot of promise, but it is hard to find in stock and is priced significantly higher. I was planning to get Deity's Pocket Wireless, which I think is a little better, but it, too, is priced higher and only includes a single transmitter. Value-wise, especially if you catch it on sale, the MoveLink M2 is tough to beat. The range is not as good as the Deity or DJI systems, and some have reported issues with dropped signals, but I've had nothing but success with this so far. With clear line of sight, I've had no issues at 40+ meters. Super simple to use. The charging case really makes this an awesome package that is made for travel and field work (I do wish it had room for the lavs and windscreens, but not a big deal). When not shooting videos, I am now using one of the lavs on my laptop for better audio on my Zoom calls. Super value!

I've used a wired lav for mobile video use for the last four years. It's fine for just me and talking head stuff, but would always get in the way of say, a "shop tour" video or any sort of movement (walking around a car or property) and of course interviews the second person's audio could get iffy if they turned away from me. Finally decided to upgrade to wireless lav and get a second mic for interviews. I used the Godox MoveLink M2 at a trade show (the day after it arrived no less) and the controls are very intuitive. I didn't even read the manual and had everything setup quickly. The mics works great, producing 8 interviews at the trade show over two days without recharging. They are easy to use, pair instantly when you power them up, and have worked flawlessly for me. I'm recording to my phone with an adapter (they do not provide a USB C or Lighting adapter, so you're on your own there). I tried it with my Canon M50 mirrorless as well with great results. I did not get a chance to use the handheld mic adapter yet, but don't see why that won't be handy for "run and gun" type interviews at events. Overall very happy, and while it does not have some features of the Rode Go, for my needs they work great and saved me some money. Only time will tell how long the non-replaceable batteries will last or if they give me any issues, but right now for the price I paid (Black Friday deal) I'm satisfied!
