To be honest this product is useless and really slow. Only good for using its storage but even then I just stop using it. UI freeze most of the time and loading photos wirelessly will take forever. Use cable if your gonna upload.

I was excited that i could use this device while on holiday to store photos for download to PC when home. This saved having to take a laptop into the African bush. Took forever to download photos and i only used 16 g card, errors every time we downloaded. Struggling like mad to get raw files of to PC. Am now looking to hack machine to get photos off and then chuck in dustbin.

I bought this for my company with a simple purpose in mind and that was to take pictures on my camera, wirelessly save them to the connect bridge and then transfer those photos to a pc for editing while still maintaining a backup of the original on the bridge for a time but this functionality does not exist (not that I can see anyways. I'd expect there to be an easy way to access the file system on the bridge via a PC on the LAN for easy transfer but thats not the case. The web interface is lame for lack of a better word. Theres a useless landing page that says login and just has an "ok" button on it, whats the purpose? Just take me to the Album page. As far as I can tell the only purpose of this unit is to save photos and distribute them to the cloud.

I got CS100 bundled with my Canon Rebel SL2. Everytime after done take photos and recording videos I transfer everything from my camera to CS100. I get to see review everything on my TV and then i get to edit them whether on my laptop or my phone. CS100 made my life much easier.

Lacks ability to load photos already edited. Can only load unedited photos. This seriously interferes with a central place to store photos. Not being able to load edited photos to CS100 Connect Station seriously interferes with for ability to store all photos in a central place. Discouraged

Purchased CS100 to store images from my 5D in March 2017. While I also use my computer to store files, the Connect Station makes it easy to download, store, track and share photos without the hassle of cables. Grab the camera, turn on the box and the TV and listen for the beep. The CS100 also connects to the internet and Canon Image Gallery for back-up and sharing. Hooking it up to the TV makes the images pop on a screen bigger than on the computer. Start the slide show and let the oohs and ahhs begin.

I had never heard of the Connect Station until I recently purchased a new Canon camera, and the salesperson convinced me that for the special price, it was a steal. So I purchased it on a whim, blindly. It seems its main purpose is for transferring your photos wirelessly from your camera to the device, and then viewing your photos on your television. Most people I know just view their photos on their computers. When I try to think of who might prefer to view them on a TV, I think of older people who aren't into computers, but in order to hook up this device and use it, you need to be fairly technologically inclined. Once its set up, it is fairly easy to transfer photos using the near field communication option. On the plus side, it's a 1 TB hard drive that you can use to back your photos up on, but you do need to have access to electricity, so it wouldn't work in the field for that. I wouldn't say it's a bad product. Its just something I'm not sure I will use, and am glad I got a great deal on it.

Canon sold out for the Cloud market. I want to export from multiple devices and have a centralized holding station so I can organize my photos. THIS IS NOT! There are some great features that allow you to export to the device both manually and automatically. THATS IT! No computer interface - you must hook up a TV to access low resolutions copies of your photos. The only way you can get them back is to upload and download over the net via a makeshift limited cloud program using the storage device as a hub. Waste of time, Waste of money and not interested in sharing my professional photos in this forum. HUGE disappointment - I was so excited to get this, very sad - hope the go back to the drawing board and incorporate the amazing export feature then add an IMPORT feature and allow me to hook up to my desktop editing system. Buyer beware.

I'm a amatuer photographer and for some time, I have had several CF and SD cards that were full of photos. I needed a storage device to download the content of the cards that simultaneously could be used for home presentation on a large screen television. The CS100 fullfilled my needs. However, if one is looking for just storage and retrieval, there are several less expensive and quite reliable ways to do this using "cloud storage companies", personal computers and storage devices. Yes, I wish the CS100 had more storage - 2TB, 3 TB or more - but, I am satisfied with my purchase. However, before someone purchases such a device, one should evaluate their needs - storage & utility - and spend their money accordingly.

I had to buy a new Canon printer to get the Connect to connect. My MX870 was not recognized. I bought the MG6820 which works fine. I needed a new photo printer anyway. I use the old printer fox any faxes, copies, etc. I haven't used the CS100 much yet but plan to on our upcoming cruise. It will allow an effective way to upload photos and videos in addition to a large storage space.. I'm glad I bought it.

I got the Canon Connect Station CS100 as a gift from my husband and I totally love this Canon Connect Station CS100 I've read some reviews that wasn't good, but I think it's because they don't have the right camera or doing something wrong because I've NOT had one issue with it. I've used it in every way possible and still not had any problems and WORKS GREAT EVERYTIME

I waited for this unit for long time. It finally arrived and what a disappointment. I tried loading photos using the wifi, hooking up the camera to it thru USB and thru the memory card reader built in. Nothing seems to work on down loading the pictures. It is hit and miss. Really a bad product from canon.
