The dial itself will justify the price
It is the best option for Davinci, period. The dial itself will justify the price. However, it is only for Davinci, the layout can't be used for daily mixed usage, that's why I only give it 4 starts. I really BMD could release a firmware upgrade to it usable as a daily driver to get rid of the second keyboard from my desk.

Perfect for a specific use case
Build quality is strong and I think this is a great keyboard if it's going to be your only one on the desk (or if you have a lot of space). I measured it before I ordered and while it fit on my desk, it's hefty and was too tight a fit for my liking. The keys seem a little smaller than what I would consider normal. I liked the mechanical keys and the noise didn't bother me, but I know that is a consideration for some. Setup is seamless within the app.
It's a really nice keyboard but I ended up returning it for 2 reasons-size and while this keyboard will speed up your editing time, it also can be used to answer messages or other things (which is not helpful with my focus). I ended up going with the Speed Editor which I find keeps me more focused.
The bottom line is if you have a space, want one keyboard that can do it all and are ok with mechanical keys and the accompanying noise, this is a beautiful, quality piece of gear.

Great tool but too big
Great keyboard but I didn't expect it to be this big in size. For a small home studio, takes most of desk's space.

Excellent keyboard, fast shipping.
I recently started editing multi cam videos for a podcast, I decided to switch to davinci resolve because of the quality of their software and the huge user base, plus the fact that it has a free version which is really full featured. I started looking at the studio version for 295.00, and then found 8f you purchase either the editors keyboard (595.00) or the speed editor (395.00) you not only get the hardware but also a full studio license (which is basically a lifetime license and you can use it on 2 pcs at the same time). So it came down to the speed editor or the full keyboard. I read a lot of reviews here and watched videos comparing them and it became obvious that the full keyboard is really what I wanted. It can be used as a regular keyboard and it has all the quick buttons for the cut/edit pages as well as the jog wheel. Adorama shipped it out for free and it arrived in 2 days. The quality is excellent and after using it a bit I know I made the right decision. Really speeds up editing and worth every penny.

Keyboard should have been backlit.
Love the keyboard, but why doesn't it light up? I work in low light most of the time, and need to see the keys. I had to purchase a light for it. Otherwise, I'd give it 5 stars instead of 4.

Nice to have for full-time Davinci Resolve users
I very much like using the jog wheel for video editing. The keys are a bit cramped compared to a standard keyboard and I wish they were backlit, specially for the price, $600. It is definitely a bit pricey despite including a license for the Studio version of Davinci Resolve, but if you spend a lot of time video editing and can afford it, it is worth the investment.

It’s pricey but honestly speeds up your workflow. I have spend half trying to do a DIY system but this one blew them out of water.
If you edit at-least 2/3 times a month. GET IT!
