Most reliable hard drive on the planet
Been using Samsung Hard Drives for years, the 870 is amazing, considering the workload I have and how many different OS systems I've tried without ever failing on me.

I purchased the Samsung 870 EVO 1TB because I was running out of storage space on my previous SSD. Installation was quick and easy, and the drive was recognized immediately without any issues. Performance has been smooth and reliable, with fast program launches and file transfers. One thing I really like is that it runs noticeably cooler than I expected, even during extended use. Since I work with a lot of files and use a significant amount of storage, the 1TB capacity has been very useful. I'm happy enough with this drive that I'm planning to buy another one of the same model soon. Overall, it's a reliable SSD with great performance and low heat output.

Reliable storage
It's worked perfectly since purchase and install. There's been no problems even after dropping once by accident during cleaning and reinstallation. Runs fast with no issues. Only thing I wish i did was buy a bigger size.

Fast reliable and worth every penny
?I just upgraded my main drive to the Samsung 870 EVO 1TB, and honestly, the difference is night and day. Right out of the box, you can tell it is well made. It has that premium, sturdy feel Samsung is known for.
?Setup was a breeze. It slid right into the 2.5 inch bay, and my system picked up the full 1TB instantly without any formatting headaches. Speed wise, this thing completely maxes out what the SATA interface can do. My PC now boots up in seconds, and heavy apps like photo editors and big games load almost instantly. Even when I am multitasking and pushing the system hard, the lag is just gone, making my whole workflow feel incredibly smooth.
?What really impresses me is how consistent it is. Even under heavy, sustained use, it stays cool and does not throttle its speeds. Sure, NVMe drives are faster on paper, but if you are limited to a SATA connection, this is easily the best choice out there. It is the perfect way to breathe new life into older hardware.
