Overall, I'm pretty happy with this keyboard. It seems pretty easy to type on, but I haven't made a lot of changes from the default settings. I really like the clarity of the lettering on the keycaps compared to other stylized options. A couple of minor things have popped up in the weeks since I started using it full-time. First, when coming out of sleep, sometimes the keyboard doesn't light up with the profile I selected and everything is just dark. Sometimes when the PC is sleeping, if I (or my cat) touches the keyboard, then it lights up and doesn't seem to shut back off. Through the software to customize, I've setup the OLED display on the keyboard to cycle through system information. However, I have an AMD CPU, so apparently it can't gather info and those related displays like CPU Temp are just blank. Lastly, it feels like I'm always trying to brush dust off the rest. I like having the wrist rest but this hard yet tacky surface seems like it would be one of the worst choices.

The SteelSeries Apex PRO Keyboard quickly became my favorite keyboard I have EVER USED! Love the mechanical key sounds when playing or typing! RGB lights are top notch and change as you type! Perfect Size, Great Features, Magnetic Detachable Wrist Rest never knew I needed one until now! Do yourself a favor if looking to invest in a new Gaming Keyboard, don't look farther GET THIS KEYBOARD!

Pretty sure I already reviewed this. The shipping box was mangled, no padding but lots of room. Inner box was fine but keyboard was bent a bit and I had to fix it by bending the sides in the opposite directions. The gimmick for the keyboard is being able to adjust the distance that you have to press the keys to get them to register as key presses for you. The catch it that the adjustable area is ONLY the small qwerty area 80ish keys. The rest of the keys feel much cheaper in comparison and are much louder. The keyboard and wrist rest have 'soft touch' coating that makes them a little grippy but it'll likely wear off in a year from cleaning and body oils. I currently have the super tiny screen telling me the cpu and gpu temps. It is in the silliest location, unless you are hovering over your keyboard, then you cant see the display because the tenkey is blocking it. TL:DR I would recommend it IF it were ALL adjustable.

After using this a few weeks I have no complaints. Coming from a using the same non-mechanical keyboard for the past 15+ years, it seems nice but I also don't get all the hype. The volume control works well. The little screen is kind of neat but gimmicky. The magnetically attached base is comfortable. I'd buy it again.

This keyboard has fast actuation, feels smooth, and is much quieter than other mechanical keyboards. The RGB is bright and beautiful. The LCD screen gif is cool, however, there must be some issue with the software. The keyboard freezes and stops working with multiple accounts on Windows. After removing the software and factory resisting the keyboard, it works flawlessly. It's only flaw being the software issue which prevents customizong the aesthetics and the actuation.

Despite the fact, this keyboard doesn't have any quick shortcut for opening up the calculator in Windows, like some much cheaper keyboard, this thing is a massive improvement over of those things. Everything is extremely responsive, tactile and quick, the software is new and responsive and allow for lovely amount of customization for a keyboard and configured to your liking. What isn't to like about this keyboard, well, except its price, from user adjustable sensitive, anti-ghosting, lightning, quick command center built in the keyboard, profiles, the quality of the keyboard and optional magnetic arm rest... its just speak for itself. A true game changer.

I had a Logitech G810 for about 3 years. Recently, keys started breaking off. I researched this keyboard, and decided to try it out. This keyboard out of the box is the smoothest thing I've ever touched. A true joy to type with, and also game with. It comes with a soft wrist guard that magnetically attaches to the keyboard. The LED screen I set to display system info, CPU Temp/utilization, GPU temp and RAM usage etc. Esthetically, very pleasing to the eye! I haven't even begun to adjust the actuation and some other advanced functions.
