I could not find any info on connecting this sub-woofer to a AVR-S960H. I want to purchase the two, but need more info. Will the AVR-S90H send sound to the sub-woofer with out the use out a sound bar?

Subwoofer

Would not update firmware. Kept failing to install. Now it just sits flashing blue standby light. Unplugged for a day, same flashing light when plugged in. Tried to reset many times tried alternate setup nothing works. Tried to contact but no support on weekends. Maybe Monday while I am at work they will call.

Could home subwoofer works with AVR-X1600H?

Due to space limitation, I want use HEOS function to build two Home150 as surround speaker and one home subwoofer as subwoofer. Is it work?

Connectivity issues

Bought 3 of these for my client, i have worked very hard with tech support for 4 days only to find out that there is a "bug" and the engineers are "working" on it. The subwoofer doesn't work with the Dennon 716H after being left idle for more than 30 min. Please patch soon. All 3 units not working.

Great sound--very happy!

I added the Denon Home Wireless Subwoofer to my DHT-S716H Sound bar and am VERY HAPPY with the sound. What a great addition to my home system. The only difficulty was syncing the two speakers, but that was because they were not on the same software version. Once they were both updated to the same software version, it works like a charm.

Denon Home Subwoofer (new March 2020)

Purchased in March 2022 two days after I saw the Denon release email. Wanted a sub to mate up with my two Home 150s to add that deep bass. Frankly I was impressed with the bass in the 150s by themselves for such a small package when I got them in Dec 2021 but it can?t compete with adding a sub. The Home sub mates flawlessly with the 150s. It self optimizes the low pass filter to match up or you can set it manually. You can separately set the base level to set it?s prominence. Only hiccup in the setup was after following the directions to a tee, no sound came out of the sub when the setup was done. Went to the ? go-to?unplug/replug from the electrical outlet fix and that did the trick. Whether listening to the acoustic intro to Hotel California, the Chili Peppers or Hip Hop 8O8s this sub delivers. Public service announcement: Please Denon add a more frequency adjustable EQ than simple treble and bass to the 150s and the HEOS app could use a refresh to make more intuitive. Hope this helps.

Denon Home Subwoofer

Extremely disappointed with my purchase of the Denon Home Subwoofer. The subwoofer plays intermittently even with a 3.5mm auxiliary cable. I have tested the auxiliary cable for defects by connecting it to another system to confirm that there is positive connectivity and the test confirmed that the cable is working:(

HDMI eARC / HEOS Issues

I recently purchased the Denon Home Subwoofer to pair with my Denon 550 soundbar. Both are very good additions to my UST laser TV. Unfortunately, if you are using a HDMI eARC connection to the soundbar you can't wirelessly connect the subwoofer via HEOS. This was only discovered after about an hour on the phone with Denon technical support. Initially, the 550 soundbar would regularly lose sound (before adding a subwoofer. Not sure why but that issue seems to stopped once I connected the subwoofer. Denon should do a better job in disclosing the limitations of HEOS.
