BeachTek's first microphone preamplifier that is an ideal front end for today's consumer minidisc, flash or harddisk recorders. The DXA-10 is a portable, battery powered preamplifier that provides an easy way to attach two professional XLR microphones to most consumer audio recording devices. Features include two gain settings, 48 volt phantom power, mic and linelevel outputs and exceptionally quiet preamplifiers.
The circuitry uses professional +/- 15 volt rails for plenty of headroom and wide dynamic range. Two gain settings of 30 and 60 dB accommodate most dynamic and condenser type microphones. The preamplifiers provide improved signal to noise and performance for virtually any consumer recording device.
Outputs are line level RCA and mic level stereo mini-jack. Operates on a single 9 volt battery in a slide out drawer for easy replacement. Rugged construction ensures years of use and the removable belt clip makes it perfect for portable applications.
