Nice bass! Nice fit and finish. Amazing sound. The active eq paired with the Dimarzio pickups make for a wide very usable tonal pallet. I'm still dicovering all this bass can do and so far it's all top notch. I read a bunch of comments from other buyers on various sites complaining about this bass being noisy. It's just flat out not true. You would have to put this bass right in front of the speaker on you amp to get any noise out of this bass. It's dead quiet. The bass was almost playable right out of the box. 1/4 turn tighter on the trussrod and a 1/4 turn down on the saddles and the bass plays like butter. No string buzz, no dead spots. All in all at this price point this bass is a winner. Highly recommended.

Since I was bit by the bug and wanted a bass guitar, my dream bass bass a Fender style PJ bass, but when I was 14 my dad bought me a Fender Precision Bass which I love and never looked back, until I was old enough to ay and buy my own stuff. At that time there no PJ quality options, besides Spectors or Deluxe American Fenders with PJ configurations, until Charvel released this bass. It is exactly what I hoped for. Due to weather it arrived with fret sprout, but I was able to file down the excess fret ends and once the wood aclimated fully, it feels and sounds great.
