Perfect! You probably can get around without it but once you have it you will never go back. Feels solid and very close to an acoustic piano.

Much more like playing a real upright piano than having the three pedals in a stand alone box, IMO. I found a true value by buying the wrong color (I really wanted balck) but in an open box. The pedal bar is perfectly fine, but white. Who cares? You don't look at the pedals as you play. And I can always paint the bar if I ever get tired of looking at a black keyboard and stand with a white pedal bar.
