Very lite weight. I am able to use my Acratech video/photo ball head. With camera body and 70-200 mm f2.8 lens this tripod is well under half the weight of my $1100.00 Gitzo. If you use for video be sure to use the heads panning arm. This tripod works for me. Since I need to use it for all of my photo/video work this is perfect.

Great tripod, I was replacing my MeFoto Backpacker (now called BackPacker Classic) tripod. I am using it for backpacking and hiking, it was lighter than MeFoto Backpacker (2.6 lbs) and taller also. I have been using it for a year without issues except there needs to be a spacer on the top of the column to the head a little higher as the ball tightening knob (not captured so it can come off) does not clear the column tightening knob . I use it with my mirrorless Fujifilm X cameras with a NN Pano head and 8mm lens. The case is light and keeps the trail dirt off, not too heavy.

Wow, this tripod was designed very well. I really enjoy the simplicity of twisting to release the segments. One special addition is the spring loaded hook at the base of the center column to attach a weighted sand bag for stability.

This tripod is lightweight but strong. I use it with a Panasonic LUMIX micro-four-thirds camera and take it everywhere I go. It meets all of my needs, is a well-made product, and I would recommend it to anyone that wants a sturdy, lightweight tripod.

This seems to be a great value for equipment that will see a variety of mostly outdoor use settings. I wanted a tripod that was going to be portable, light, and yet solid enough to do the job. My concerns will be the wear on the ball-head and the leg locks but time will tell whether my concern is valid: doesn’t really matter as the cost was low enough to simply buy a new one if needed.

The first time I went out to shoot photos with this tripod; one of the legs just fell off after loosening the twist knob just enough to slide the leg down. Luckily, Adorama was very professional and helped me quickly exchange this item for a different tripod. Obviously, being wary of Benro products at that point; I decided to go with the Three Legged Thing (Travis) and love it! Within the same price range, the Three Legged Thing blows away the competition.

I ordered this tripod due to my cheap amazon basics one broke off, and the customer service didnt want to sell part to replace. The price is twice of the amazon knock off, but the quality is all I want to talk about! Great build, very study and I was amazed on its color as well! It holds my nikon d750 with heavy lens (24 70 or 70 200) super sturdy, never tilted over since I use it. If you dont believe, get one, I'm sure you'll love it!!!!
