What A Relief! It Works Great!
As a professional Nikon user of many years who's migrating to Sony mirrorless cameras, I couldn't be happier with this adaptor! I have Nikon PC-E 24mm, 45mm and 85mm tilt/shift lenses that I wanted to use on my Sony A7R iii, but, having read horror stories on various websites that the Commlite ENF-E1 Pro doesn't fit properly, or won't control the aperture of Nikon PC-E lenses, or won't permit focusing at infinity, I ordered this item from Adorama with some trepidation. However, having received the item today and tested the adaptor with all three lenses on my A7r iii, and then shot the same architectural scene with the same three lenses on a Nikon 810, and done side by side pixel-peeping on a 32" 4K monitor I'm delighted to say the results shot on my Sony using this Commlite ENF-E1 Pro adaptor (with latest firmware) are in no way inferior to the shots I did using the same lenses on the Nikon D810. I can't offer an opinion on how fast AF lenses work via the adaptor, or whether there's any difference in VR function, but for my manual focus needs the Commlite is a GREAT purchase: the PC-E lenses suffer no loss in sharpness for being mounted on an adaptor, aperture control is fully functional and the lens metadata registers fine too. What a relief! Thoroughly recommended for architecture or landscapes!
