I had purchased this lens out of curiosity and was glad that I did so. I was surprised by the sheer weight and size of it. The lens is made like a tank of glass and metal. I have a variety of other 50mm lenses, but this one is far wider. It is similar in size and performance to the Zenit 50mm which is a gem itself. It fits remarkably well with my Fujifilm X-E3 and produces fine photos. It is a fast lens as well and the dials and clicks work accordingly. I am happy with my purchase. Please note that this lens is manual. If you do not like manual lenses, you may want to look elsewhere. Please may sure that you are ordering the second generation lens, it is far better than the original one.

It is manual focus. It works good but you have to be able to focus it. Just couldn't give it a 5 because it is so hard to use. It will make you learn manual focus. The Bokeh is real good as long as you use lights or same color background. The price is pretty good.

Collect a ton of light
The Kamlan 50mm f/1.1 manual focus lens is designed for the mirrorless camera, with sensors as big as APS-C, which delivers top grade image quality, regardless of weak lighting conditions. This lens provides a bright F1.1 aperture at fixed focal lengths 50mm, equivalent to 135 full frame is 75mm( at APS-C), 100mm ( at M4/3). The extremely shallow depth of field at open aperture produces portraits and detailed studies of unequaled aesthetic effect. It also provides outstanding fast and accurate shutter speed by achieving a great amount of light.
Nice sharpness even when wide open at f1.1
Because of the 12 circular aperture blades, it has buttery smooth bokeh and extremely shallow depth. The lens also manages to keep some nice sharpness even when wide open at f1.1. When at f1.1 with portraits and it's very doable
