I was really worried this wouldn't work for my older lenses but it's perfect! I have an old 80-200 (magic drain pipe) and it didn't show up on any of the compatibility lists but it works like a charm! Definitely worth the price and a great alternative to the metabones adapter. Sigma always comes through!

The Must have for Sony Cameras with Canon Lenses. I have tried others and they do not work properly. This is the only one that works without a crazy amount of breathing and limitations on Hi shooting rate. I have three now. Never an issue.

This little adaptor allowed me to easily transition from Canon to Sony and still be able to use Canon glass. It worked great and didn't impact the quality of photos.

I know the Sigma MC-11 E to EF mount lens adapter will be great...if I ever receive it. UPS has had the item sitting in a "Pending Acceptance" status for five days now. When I call, they tell me that "Mail Innovations (the company Adorama uses to ship) is not a day definite service." What I saved buying from them over Amazon or even B&H wasn't worth it because I needed the adapter to shoot a wedding this weekend w/a Sony I purchased to replace a Canon. Two weeks from the date purchased is absolutely terrible, and Adorama does not cary any products I couldn't get delivered in a reasonable amount of time from another retailer for a few bucks more. This isn't the first time their turnaround has been this slow either. I honestly doubt I'll ever shop Adorama again...I just need to remember it the next time I get lured in by a minor price difference.

I was a little let down by this product which is why I have it 4 stars. For the price this is a solid product but when I attach my Canon and Tamron lenses to it they have a very noticeable ?jiggle? which feels very sketchy. Other then that it functions like it should and is about half the price of a Metabones.

No complaints! I use an A6500, an EF 70-200mm f2.8L w/ EF Ext 2x, also Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 w/ Sigma 1.4 TC for surf pics. Very Fast, reliable AF on both lenses, as well as on Sigma 50mm f1.4 Art and Sigma 20mm f1.4 Art. AF is much faster, more reliable than with Canon 80D on same lens. Even soaked by salt waves, I rinsed off with fresh water, toweled off camera/lens and back to beach. 10,000 captures later, no issues.

The adapter/converter works surprisingly well considering all the so-so reviews on YouTube. If you are using Canon glass for all but the most jumpy subjects this works just fine for follow-focus. Most of my lenses are Mark I or II and older than 10 years. I have tested it on both the a6400 and the a7R IV with good results. If you are converting from the Canon EF platform to Sony this is a good mid-term strategy as you wait to replace your lenses.

I tried this converter with my Canon 50mm f/1.2 and my 70-200mm f/2.8 lenses and it works great for photos, auto focus works works perfect, it detects eyes and keeps the track of the subjects, but my big concern it is that the follow focus does to works for video, you need to do full manual for focusing. Good to slowly do the transition from canon lenses to the Sony ones if you don't have the budget to swap your old gear to the new one. I will definitely migrate to Sony to get full features of their brand.

I bought this product because I have a metabones IV to adapt my canon glass to the a7iii and while the autofocus is not terrible, it isn’t great either. So when I ordered the a7siii, I heard that this was the adapter to go with and by using this adapter, you barely notice a difference between autofocus performance between native and canon glass. Unfortunately I haven’t received the a7siii yet to test it but I did test it on the a7iii. There is no autofocus capabilities while shooting video but the continuous focus in photography is great! Hopefully it works for video with the a7siii. I updated the firmware before using just as an FYI.

I am impressed that the adapter works well with all the Canon lenses I have. The fit and finish is excellent. Considering the cost this is a no brainer purchase if you wish to use your Canon lenses on the Sony E.
