Great Protection but Should be included with Evolv200 Head.

Mixed on this protector. It does the job of protecting the bare bulb very well. It should be standard with the Evolve200 Bare Bulb Head instead of buying separately.

Does not fit well

I bought 2 of these to keep the tubes attached to the eVOLV 200 and protect them but unfortunately they don?t fit very well? It is to tight and you run the risk of breaking the tube while trying to protect it. I hope they take a second look at the design of this product and fix it, because it is very useful and necessary..

Must Have

I use my bare bulb more than the fresnel flash head attachment that came with my AD200, and this little cover makes it possible to leave the bulb attached on my AD200 at all times for quick setup. I no longer have to carry the seperate AD200 zippered case with me on shoots, as my AD200 just goes in my camera bag, ready to go.

Perfect bulb protector

This aluminum bulb protector fits the bare bulb attachment for the eVolve 200 & 200 Pro (aka Godox AD200 & 200 Pro) perfectly. Take your flash unit anywhere knowing the bulb is 100% safe from being crushed (up to several hundred pounds, I imagine — I haven’t TRIED to destroy it, you understand). I was only able to find this at Adorama, and it’s absolutely the right piece for that bulb.
