I really love how it magnetic. The light bounces great with the different features of the camera. I think is a must have item to have if you have a Profoto flash.

Great bounce

I had an unconventional use for the Clic Dome, yet it surpassed my expectations, even cutting out the need for additional diff. 

My project was retrofitting a small fresnel with an LED array, which when projected through the traditional fresnel lens presents its own set of complications. Instead of smooth light falloff and a defined center, it had a starburst effect & multiple directional shadows. 

To remedy complication, I fitted the dome in lieu of the 3" fresnel lens and it completely reshaped the garbage-shaped light output into a soft, even spot with nice, soft shadows throughout the whole range of the fresnel. And since I used an LED driver, the heat from the 30W source has no effect on the dome. The magnetic quality of the Clic Dome was a huge bonus, as it stuck right to the ferrous pins that had held the original lens. 

Would highly recommend the Clic Dome. Although if you intend to use it how I did, just watch your temperatures!
