DJI Extension Rod is a really cool accessory for the Pocket 2. It has all the controls built into the rod itself. Your pocket 2 controls the rod with it own power. Best bundle I have bought beside my DJI Mini 2.

Only wish it would also connect to the phone so I could Use and external mic at the same time. All in all it works great. Just keep in mind with this connected and the wifi adapter you cannot use external mic.

DJI Osmo Pocket Extension Rod works exactly as described. I like that I can attach it to my tri-pod when I need to.

Awesome product from checking the extention rod out, but I haven't had the opportunity to actually use it with my dji Pocket 2, and smartphone to be able to give an in use review. I am looking forward to using with my dji pocket 2 and smartphone to record my adventures.

I like this extension rod but its missing wire/wireless module to connect your phone. If you wanna connect your phone to Osmo pocket you have to buy wireless module or a wire.

I really liked this product. Built quality is good, feels well made although is all plastic. It makes the Osmo pocket a lot better to use/operate with the joystick and the additional buttons. It extends the right length, not too short, not too long. The phone holder is reliable as I didn't feel my phone was going to fall off from it. Also the camera itself sits very secure to the stick. Now there are some things I believe need some improvement. The lack of a battery big enough to charge the camera on the go is a shame. I don't see any reason why they didn't put a battery inside the grip, maybe it could've increase the weight a little bit but the stick is very light to begin with. Is weird that the stick is actually charged via the camera itself. They could've done some integration with the phone through the stick itself, in other words, having a connection close to the phone holder kinda like the Mavic drone controller so the camera connects to the phone without having to use the WiFi dongle (which could yield to a mic accessory connection). Lastly I would've include a gimbal protection cover so the camera can stay with the stick while not in use and stowed away without being worried about getting it bumped all over the place in my bag. This could've been a cheap non fancy piece of plastic kinda like the ones they use on the Mavic drones. I would recommend this stick without a doubt only if you are in need of a stick. This is a great tool for vlogging and creative shots.
