Great Customer Service

I bought 4 Paglink HC-PL94T batteries. One of them stoped working and I returned to PAG company. They replaced 4 new batteries for me. I really appreciate it. Highly recommended!

The PAG HC-PL94T Linking Snap On Time Battery is a high-current replacement for all Anton Bauer Li-Ion batteries. PAGlink is the first truly digital linking battery system. It offers more power, more functional benefits and more technological advancements than any other battery system. The smaller and lighter PAGlink Li-Ion battery is compatible with the Gold Mount (Snap-On, 3-Stud) camera plate and with Anton Bauer Li-Ion chargers. There is no need to throw-out expensive kit in order to benefit from the many advantages of PAG's revolutionary, intelligent linking battery technology.

Two or more PAGlink batteries, in any state of charge, can be linked, combining their capacities and enabling a higher current to be drawn. Up to 12A can be supplied for power-hungry camera set-ups that include multiple accessories. Individual PAGlink batteries are capable of 10A.Two linked batteries provide a longer run-time than two single batteries used consecutively. PAGlink allows batteries to be hot-swapped for continuous power, which means no more reboots while shooting. PAGlink was designed so that flight-friendly 94 watt-hour battery units can be linked to create a high-capacity Li-Ion power source on location.

Linking two HC-PL94T packs creates a 188 watt-hour battery. The number of Li-Ion batteries above 100 watt-hours that you can take with you on passenger aircraft is restricted to two, while Li-Ion batteries that have capacities greater than 160 watt-hours are banned from passenger flights altogether. The HC-PL94T has been independently tested in accordance with UN standards and certified to comply with air transport safety regulations. Its capacity is below 100 watt-hours and it is therefore suitable for air transport on passenger aircraft, in hand-luggage, without quantity restriction.

Every PAG Li-Ion battery comes with an Air Transport document and carries an Air Safe sticker which includes the UN Test number. Four or more PAGlink batteries can be linked for charging on each position of your Anton Bauer Li-Ion chargers, resulting in a 16 channel unit, in certain cases. The number of batteries that can be charged linked is dependent on the charger model and firmware version. PAGlink allows up to 8 batteries to be linked for charge or discharge. Linked charging was developed by PAG and is unique to the PAGlink system. The result is less battery swapping and fewer chargers required.

Keep your batteries topped-off on the charger instead of leaving them to self-discharge on the shelf. PAGlink batteries display their individual status during charging. The battery display characters can be rotated with a single button press, for legibility. Intelligent PAGlink batteries form a network when linked, allowing them to communicate with each other and manage output safely and efficiently. The batteries do not discharge into one another. The batteries communicate automatically with the camera data system that allows both PAGlink and Anton Bauer batteries to display their remaining capacity in the viewfinder and LCD.

The battery incorporates a numeric run-time and capacity display. Remaining run-time is shown, on-load, expressed in hours and minutes, to a resolution of 1 minute. When batteries are linked, the run-time figure is for the entire stack, but a single button press shows individual battery capacity as a percentage of full, in 1% increments. The display maintains its accuracy by tracking the performance and adjusting calibration values to compensate for the ageing of the cells. PAGlink batteries are firmware upgradeable. The program can be updated in the field by the user, in a matter of seconds, without opening the battery case.

An update can be supplied by PAG or your dealer, which enables you to benefit from the technological advances that PAG introduces to accommodate developments in camera and charger technology. PAGlink is the right battery system for today's increasingly computerized cameras; it makes other battery systems seem crude by comparison. The PAGlink HC-PL94T battery features long-life, premier-quality, high-current Li-Ion cells, which have no memory effect and are completely recyclable.

In keeping with PAG's total battery design philosophy the HC-PL94T is designed and constructed to provide the longest possible working life. The battery case is manufactured from high-impact, injection-molded polycarbonate, which is inherently very strong and also used for motorcycle crash helmets. Additionally, the internal case design protects the cell-pack against damaging impact. The battery's advanced electronic protection system is fail-safe and guards against conditions that reduce battery life. It features circuits that are Parylene coated to make them resistant to electrolyte. Enhanced low temperature performance allows PAGlink batteries to operate at -20deg.C.
