Rated 5 out of 5

Everyone at NAB 2014 said "Wow!"

As a Canon C100 owner I was unhappy with the built-in LCD and the joke that is the viewfinder. I was really disappointed when a well known local DP said (while using a pricey LCD loupe) "I'll never use this camera again!" At NAB 2014 I was very keen on finding a suitable EVF and my reaction was the same as most other visitors when I stumbled across the Alphatron booth. The Adorama booth staff were also very helpful when discussing this EVF. I got an opportunity to get my hands on many different EVF's ant NAB and the Alphatron was far superior on many levels. Cons - Price, compared to the cheap products Not quite enough focus adjustment Mini HDMI Pros - Value, compared to more expensive products Metal construction Ventilation HD-SDI conversion Trust-worthy image Magnifier shutter Overlays and assist features Realistic monitoring from the Canon C100
