Take control. The RM-AV2 provides remote control over the basic functions of your Handycam camcorder, including Record Start/Stop, variable-speed Zoom, Power, and Photo Capture. Clips directly onto your tripod's handle for easy access.

My only complaint about this is that the zoom is a little bit touchy.  My main need was for start-stop recording from a short distance away.  I would have liked it also if some sort of extension cord was provided for longer distances, but that's not so much a complaint as just a wish.  It works fantastic for what I needed and no problems at all with it.

Works good

When I want to use manfrotto and gitzo video heads, this clip on is fast, portable,and adds fluid movement.

I used this product with Sony Camcorder on a monopod with situations where you need long arms for the controls, especially when the monopod is fully extended. Results were very good.

Eliminates shaking from using buttons on the camera.
