I own an FS700 with a Canon EF lens adaptor.  I use the Shape Lens support to hold larger Canon 300 - 400 f/2.8 lenses.

There have been two occasions when the locking mechanism slipped and I realized the weight of the lens was reseting on the camera.

I find many of the additional accessories one needs to buy these days for smaller rigs to be pricey (especially for a piece of simple metal) and when they perform their simple functions it's frustrating.  

Of the options available for the price the Shape Lens support does fine overall, but I just wish it was cheaper.
