About RED Digital Cinema Side SSD Module

The RED MINI-MAG SIDE SSD MODULE replaces your DSMC 1.8" SSD SIDE MODULE for mounting RED MINI-MAG media. RED MINI-MAGS utilize a faster read/write speed for improved compression ratios, delivering exceptional quality at higher frame rates and resolutions. For slow motion and max resolution image capture, the RED MINI-MAG SIDE SSD MODULE can be swapped in using common hand tools to allow access to the highest performing media RED has to offer. The RED MINI-MAG system requires that your DSMC is on firmware v5.1.34 or later.
