Under the umbrella of high-performance cameras, the Marshall CV228 2.5MP Full HD Weatherproof 3G/HD-SDI HD Lipstick Camera stands out with its superior video capturing capabilities. This compact, weatherproof camera is engineered to deliver crisp, color-accurate HD video, thanks to its next-generation Sony sensor, wide 4.0mm (85 Degree) lens, and high-efficiency precision processors.
The CV228 is housed in a robust, all-weather cylindrical body, measuring just 19.5mm in diameter. It comes with a 3-meter breakout cable, inclusive of 3GSDI, remote RS485, and 12V power. Designed to withstand harsh outdoor conditions, this camera is ideal for environments where dust, dirt, water, mud, and snow are prevalent.
Despite its miniature size, the Marshall CV228 can be discreetly positioned and is capable of producing reliable, crystal-clear video over full-size 3G/HD-SDI (BNC) in Progressive or Interlaced resolutions up to 1920x1080. This is demonstrated with the optional CVM-6 accessory mount.
The CV228 is equipped with the latest Sony sensor and processor technology, offering a significant improvement in video performance and a very low signal noise threshold, even in low-light conditions. The camera also features a durable and flexible RG6 coaxial breakout cable, designed to withstand heavy use and bend rotation.
For versatile placement and mounting, the Marshall CV228 includes a standard 1/4"-20 mount socket, compatible with tripods, goosenecks, and other camera mounting hardware. For added flexibility, it can be paired with the Marshall CVM-6 Adhesive Camera Mount Kit with lipstick clip option.
The camera offers flexible control and framerate options, allowing users to select between 60, 59.94, 50, 30, 29.97, 25 frame-rates at 1920x1080p, 1920x1080i, and 1280x720p resolutions. It also supports RS485 Visca control for remote adjust and match, enabling precision picture adjustments from control rooms, OB vans, or broadcast trucks.
