Shopper : What is the shooting distance or range for this kit?DAVID O : I have shot up to 50 feet with no problem. I have not tried any further.BARBARA P : I usually practice at ranges 3-7 yards, the longest distance I practice in my house is 18 yards. The hits are a strong flash on the target so I would think I could move back further if I had the room.PAUL S : It would depend on the light condition. The laser is similar to a generic laser pointer.BOB S : I don't know what your intended practice distance is but as this item is typically used for indoor dry fire work with reflective targets, range should not be an issue with the beam being easily visible across the length of an aver age home. Outdoors id a different story. The light level is a factor. the brighter the day, the less range visibility. It's the same issue with actual laser sites actually used in live fire. For training purposes as intended, there should be no issue.WILLIAM H : Not sure what the range is, I am using it for dry firing practice and trigger control at home. Most of the distances are within 10 feet, 15 feet at the most. Hopefully this helps, it is a good product.KITTA S : For indoors, I have a 24 ft length room for my basement and I can see the laser fine. I did try at an outdoor range at 10 yrds and you can see it but it was kind of hard since it was bright that day (just used paper target, didn't use the reflector target it came with probably would've showed up better) I wouldn't recommend for outdoor range unless its really cloudy or somewhat dark. Hopefully that gives you an idea. This really is a helpful practice tool.RAYMOND H : I have only used it in my living room at under 20 feet. I could see it easily going farther in the proper lighting.LEE T : In a room that is not brightly lit about 15 feet. I "shoot" from one end of my 20 ft basement to target I tape on the walls at the other end.

Cartridge doesn't slide easily into or of out either of my 9mm glocks. Got stuck in both barrels and needed a pen to push it out. I ordered a 9mm cartridge. Not sure why it doesn't fit properly

A quality piece of training equipment.

A quality piece of training equipment. Easy to assemble in my M&P 9mm and I really like the fact that the laser goes into the chamber, not allowing for even a possibility of a live round to be loaded into the weapon. Using the Sure Strike dry fire is the next best thing to actually going to the range and the instant feedback is fantastic. I would recommend this product.
