Lensbaby Lensbabies 3G 50mm Special Effect Lens with 16mm or 35mm Motion Picture PL Mount

Like its still camera predecessors, Lensbaby 3GPL allows filmmakers to bring onepart of their frame into sharp focus; a sweet spot' surrounded by gradually increasing blur. You can move the sweet spot of sharp focus anywhere in the photo by bending the lens.

The Lensbaby 3GPL will work directly on 16mm or 35mm PL mount motion picture cameras. If you have a video camera, you will need to buy an adapter, either a PL adapter (for use with Lensbaby 3GPL) or an SLR mount adapter (for use with a regular SLR Lensbaby 3G).

Focus the 3GPL by compressing and bending the lens manually. The area of focus can be locked into a fixed position by pressing a button. Then, using a traditional manual focus mechanism, camera operators are able to follow focus orfine-tune the focus at a fixed position. The photographer also has the option ofbending and compressing the Lensbaby 3GPL freely without locking for a spontaneous, selective focus effect.

Photographers can also mount a variety of 37mm or 52mm threaded accessories ontothe front of the Lensbaby 3GPL, including wide angle and telephoto conversion lenses, filters, and hoods. Please note that the Lensbaby Macro Kit will not work on the Lensbaby 3GPL.

Lensbaby 3GPL can be used on certain models of video cameras using several PL or SLR lens to video camera adapters such as the P+S Technik, Redrock M2, Brevis35, Letus35, and SGpro.
