I was a little hesitant to purchase this bag, 

Having never seen it in person you can understand my hesitation. 

However I decided I was tired of wrapping my tripod in the bubble wrap slip case it came with, and then putting it inside the bag that libec provides with the RS 450.

I am very pleased with the bag, no more lengthy pack up at the end of a shoot, I collapse the tripod, put it in the original bag, then place that bag snugly inside the RC-50, the two bag combo seems to provide excellent protection for the camera. 

That said, if you dont have the secondary bag, then the padding the RC-50 comes with may or may not provide adequete protection for your tripod, I am happy with the purchase because using the 2 bags provides a good layer of protection. the only reason I rate it at 4 stars is because I believe the RC-50 could have a bit more padding.

All Libec products I have used are well made, and of solid construction (RC-50, RS-450, H22-DV)

Libec has always done well by me, and I think it's a shame that they arent one of the better known namebrands in the camera industry.

So, if you're on the fence about getting the bag, I say go for it!

It's well constructed, well thought out, and easy to carry.
