To preface, I have been using Libec tripods since 2010, and have always been very pleased with their performance, and cost.

The tripods systems always have cool features that I see other more well known tripod brands lacking.

I.E the illuminated bubble level, and the hook that secures the legs to each other while transporting.

The Libec RHP85, and the T103B Tripod are the largest tripod system I have ever used.

My tripods have been getting bigger since my initial Libec purchase in 2010.

My upgrade path has been:

Libec h22dv
Libec RS250
Libec RS350
Libec RS450
Libec LX10
Libec RHP850

While I honestly don't enjoy carrying around progressively heavier tripods, I really don't like having the weight capacity exceeded by heavy camera setups, so the extra workout is worth it :)

Make no mistake though, if you buy the RHP85 and the T103b it is large and heavy.

On the other hand you will likely have the coolest most impressive set of sticks on set, unless someone has one of those massive oconnor sets.

The head comes with 2 plates, which is a first in my experience with Libec products, the standard one you see in the photos, and a new extra long plate for more finite weight balancing.

The screws are all 3/8 16 no 1/4 20s here.

It also comes with a left, and right tripod handle which is great to have if you need to add controls like servo zoom, and focus.

7 levels of torque on the pan and tilt is fantastic, I can really dial in exactly what I want now for a shot.

The counterbalance is also superb, I have a 30lb red epic that is very front heavy, and have it perfectly counterbalanced now.

Also as a bonus this head will fit on the dana dolly with no need for the washer as the bottom Libec screw plate is a big enough diameter for the hole.

I am very pleased with my RHP85, and If I needed another I would not hesitate to pick one up.
