It is such a unique lens that gives a specific look to your image that no other lens could produce. While the physical structure of the optic is pretty solid, but the overall system feels a bit flimsy combined with the composer pro 2. The center of the optic has acceptable shapeness for portraits but when shooting wide open, anything outside of the center is very soft. In other words, you could only place your subject in the middle of the frame of you want your subject to be shape. This lens definitely has the potential to produce images with wow factor and it?s so much fun to use.

I am very happy with this purchase. I paired it with the composer pro ii and the versatility was actually beyond my expectations. I originally bought it for the swirly bokeh but when dialed in and coupled with the selective focus of the composer pro I ended up with some very unique but not overstylized images. So far I have only used it for nature and have yet to try portraits due to COVID but I am very much looking forward to the results.

Fun to play with. With the Composer Pro lens body, changing between the different Lensbaby lenses takes no time. And the picture quality is excellent.

The lens is relatively cheap and has a nice character, but the mount is very insecure. It is really hard to keep it from falling out of my Composer barrel when camera is pointed down.

For me this is a very interesting and creative lens and adding the macro filters makes for a great combination.....Rich
