excellent optics
For my uses size is an issue. The smaller the better and for 10x25mm these are are very bright, clear and contrasty. They work so well with glasses that I usually will keep my polarized sunglasses on and enjoy the benefits of polarization. (This is a really great feature)I do use special care since the front glass is very close to the end of the barrel and the came only with caps for the rear glass.

The housings of LEICA ULTRAVID BR models are equipped with shock-absorbing rubber armoring that protects them from damage. The handy armoring also eliminates slippery handling and the ergonomic shape of the binocular ensures a firm and steady grip, even in damp weather and while wearing gloves. The thumb rests on the back of the binocular are an added orientation aid for holding LEICA ULTRAVID BR models correctly without encumbering the user.
The multi-function center drive on LEICA ULTAVID BR and BL binoculars is a central operating element for focusing and diopter compensation conveniently positioned for user-friendly operation.
