I ordered the 300 2.8 II lens, but somehow this LensCoat came up when I went to order the LensCoat for it, and it does not fit my lens. I ended up with the LensCoat for the 300 2.8 lens, not the 2nd generation lens. I will have to make do, as I am not spending another 90.00 for the right one.
