There is nothing better.

I use the Leica APO 82mm spotting scope for hunting and taking pictures. It is as good as it gets for either. You can judge an animals tropy potential out to a mile with out difficulty. There is not a better spotting scope available. Clarity and brightness remain the same throughout power range. I have compared this scope with my Swarovski ST-80-20X/60 High Definition and other high end scopes and the Leica has them beat in all ways, they are not even close. If you are in need of a spotting scope, you can not go wrong with this unit. You will never need to upgrade, and from my previous experiance with other Leica products I am sure it will last a lifetime.
