Shopper : Will this work with a Nikon d800e?THOMAS F : I bought it to use with a D 4 which would be roughly the size I think of a D 800 with an attached battery grip. Get the regular size if you don't use a battery grip. ERICK C : I use it with my Canon 5d Mark ii ( without lens ) fits the body snug. but The bag is taller than my camera, when I close the flap, there's about 2.25 inches extra room on top.JOHN H : Yes if you havethegrip on it will be a perfect fit. Withoutthegrip it will be looseJASON M : It barely fits my D5100 with an 18-55 zoom, but it's roomy in there with my 35 prme attached. It may be an issue if you try to use a zoom lens, though it does stretch. If you're using a prime lens though, this is a really convenient and stylish way to carry your camera around. There is easy acces too, though keep in mind there is no strap on this bag: you must use your cameras own neck strap.

Will take a beating!

I bought this product to take a DSLR on a cave tour that included low crawling, rock climbing, mud, water, and rappelling. Some creative engineering allowed me to tether the camera to my hip, and off we went. Five hours later, the camera had been dragged through mud, bounced off rocks, and taken through a couple of small waterfalls. The camera looked a lot better than I did. The case seems to have been made with a short zoom lens in mind; if you have a prime lens, you will have a bit of room in the case.
