The LCD Viewfinder Spare Mounting Frame for LCDVF 16/9 is an additional or replacement metal frame that allows you to magnetically attach your LCDVF 16/9 to the area around the LCD screen of your Panasonic GF1, GF2, DMC GF3, GH1, or GH2 camera; or your Sony NEX-5, NEX3, or NEX-C3 camera.
Though the frame bonds firmly to the camera, it is possible to remove the frame without damaging it. Replacement frames are useful because you can use a single LCDVF 16/9 viewfinder on multiple compatible cameras, attaching it via the magnetic connection to the frame and then removing it easily. The LCDVF 16/9 comes with two frames as standard.
