Fits my EF 300 mm f/2.8 perfectly (with or without hood), but packs much smaller than OEM cover. Not quite as solid as OEM, case/bag provides protection of front element from impact, so this is just right for me.

great for travel

I bought this for my new Canon 200-400. Lenscoat hoodies work great to protect the lens from dust, debris, and scrapes.  They are light weight but tough.

Lenscoats Are Great Protection!

I bought this for my Canon EF 300mm 2.8 IS version I since the leather cover that came with the lens was so bulky and couldn't use it on the lens when my lens is not reversed.  This is small and flexible and fit very nicely on the lens hood, not reversed, with LensCoat.  With the great price, I am very happy with the purchase.

This is an AWESOME product.

This lens cover is the perfect choice to protect the Nikkor f2.8 ED IF AI-s with or without the Nikon HE-4 hood attached. It is a snug fit that blends in with the lens to almost disappear into one unit. The protective disc adds an even greater feel of security for the front element as well. Great price, high quality and extremely useful.

Price, Quality, Usefulness!

I've found the lens hood cover that came with my Nikkor 200-400mm VR f/4 lens to be a bit on the bulky side, especially for carrying in a golf cart converted to carry the lens in it's bag to take the weight off of my shoulders. 

With the LensHoodie I can slip it on the lens, put it into the bag and I can pull the lens out easily & quickly to get set up to photograph birds. The LenHoodie stays put until I take it off and it protects my big glass
