Absolute stupidity on my part. Excellent lens cap, first class product from Leica.

First of all this Leica brass is absolutely gorgeous to see this on the front of the lens of the Q3. The issue for me! It was not made to attach as a lens cap, with the new Leica brass lens shade . They are not compatible as a pair. This is my mistake, thinking they were. I'm also fortunate to have a Q2 which I'm going to attach this lens cap too. For me a win win outcome.
