Perfect Size

I have seen many pro photographers use these lens covers over the years, but I just recently decided to buy one to protect my 200-400mm while traveling and shooting. Althought it was a struggle to get all of the different pieces on over the lens, I like the way they fit. I find it easy enough to move the switch sliders through the clear pastic covers. However, the alignment dots on the lens are covered by the new lens cover. I sometimes have to lift the edges of the cover to see the dots when putting my camera on the lens or when adjusting the position of the lens collar.

Tight fit but excellent cover

I'm unsure if the camouflage makes any difference to the wildlife. I'm discovering birds and most wildlife are indifferent to me as long as I'm non-threatening and approach slowly and indirectly. 

It really does help protect your equipment and I wouldn't go outdoors with this lens without it on. It's also acts as an insulator in the winter making the lens not so shockingly cold to carry.
