Most of the items fit well. I didn’t use a couple as they impede access to the functions. I also slice off the clear plastic cone rings that go over some of the switches. All in all it’s what I expected, having used them on my Nikon 200-500.

Works as expected

I have a 500 F4 VR-G and the lens coat covers all the sections of the lens. For the 300 F2.8 AF-S II it is 4 scrawny pieces of neoprene and doesn't even cover the whole lens. Not worth it for the price. Better off buying from one of the 2 UK companies at 2/3 price and having your whole lens protected. I contacted customer service at lens coat and they suggested I return their product.  Last time I will ever purchase a lenscoat..  For the extra .40 worth of neoprene to cover the whole lens I would have at least felt slightly satisfied..
