This coat fits great.   I bought it to protect my lens when traveling.  I carry this in my roll on.  In some of the smaller planes they tell us to check in the suitcase at the gate.   When they do I just take this out in the coat and carry it separately and place it back when we land.

Perfect fitting with protection

I assumed that this was a functional cover that could accompany the lens in the field. The promo showed a pic of the cover on my lens with windows open for the controls etc. 
I guess I can use the cover the lens while in the field until I shoot, then pull it off. In the current configuration I can't use the cover while using the lens.
