Even better with some brassing.
The grip is solid brass and coated with lacquer to keep it shiny. That isn't the look that I was going for, though. A careful application of paint stripper to the brass, keeping the plastic parts easily removed the lacquer. The grip now has a nice vintage patina that continues to get better looking as time goes on. Yes it is expensive, but it is very helpful with my large hands. Now that it looks better, in my opinion, it is a great addition to my Q3.
